FISCAL Technologies works with many police authorities and recognises the challenges they face in terms of delivering improved services to the public at the same time as reducing costs, increasing efficiency and providing greater accountability for where the public’s money is spent. Over the past few years investment in technology within the police forces has been focused on 'front-line' services that help fight crime, the threat of terrorism and anti-social behaviour across the country. As a result, administrative and non front-line services have had to work even harder to improve efficiencies in their own areas to help deliver improvements to those front-line services. Working with the finance teams, FISCAL has been able to help many police authorities track down and put a stop to unnecessary losses through duplicate payments and similar process errors. Our cost-effective but powerful solutions have helped many forces to recover thousands of pounds of duplicate payments and to identify what can be done to improve processes and stop the errors happening again.

At FISCAL we work closely with our customers to find out how we can continue to make improvements to our products to better support their needs. FISCAL was delighted to be a main sponsor of the Developments in Police Finance Conference held in London in October 2009.
