FISCAL Technologies Protects Accounts Payable Against Supplier Fraud

Reading, UK – 18th November 2011: FISCAL Technologies, providers of world-class accounts payable audit software, reported a record number of attendees to the latest in their popular webinar series on supplier fraud attracting 54 participants. Hosted by UK based accounts payable aficionados, Accounts Payable News® – the event provided a focus for a new resurgence in the fraud danger lurking in the shadows of many AP teams.

Director of Customer Development, David Griffiths presented the 45 minute webinar delving into the reasons why fraud is on the increase and how organisations are now at more risk than at any other time in the last 10 years. David reported that as AP departments are at the hub of an organisation’s cash flow, they are seen as key targets, and are vulnerable. David pointed out that the key to fraud avoidance was to protect AP and by ensuring process improvements are put into place, preventing errors and detecting suspicious transactions and behaviour.
