"Our Senior A/P Analysts have been trying to develop and produce various audit reports from our A/P system, which would allow us to key in on items that might be erroneous and require additional audit. Because of the complexity of our system, the progress has been slow and difficult. The FISCAL Technologies* System has delivered a variety of these types of reports for us, which has allowed us to shift our focus to the audit and recovery phase, and take us out of the query development process.

On our first pass of reviewing the queries from the FISCAL Technologies System we discovered a duplicate payment of $129,088.76, which was a commission payment that had been submitted twice. Our Payables system did not flag this because there was not a unique invoice number, and the requests were submitted on, and with, different dates. Because this was caught so quickly, we were able to recover these funds within two weeks.

It was VERY easy to get our data loaded into your program. It did not require any IT resources which is a good thing, and did not even require much technical knowledge. Very simple and efficient! I think this will be a very useful tool.

I am very excited about utilizing this system as part of our control procedures, and feel confident that it will allow us to identify potential erroneous payments and recover funds in a timely manner.
